Lim + Julie | Toronto Wedding

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Lim for the past 13 years and he’s been a very close family friend of mine. So when he asked us to photograph his wedding it was a no-brainer to humbly say ‘yes’. What we didn’t expect upon arrival was that Lim and Julie had plans to show us a great portion of the city life in Toronto. Korean food…fancy bubble teas…unlimited oysters…the fair…waffle-inspired restaurant…ferry trips…bike tours…macaroons…craft beers…and the list goes on! But see, that’s how things work for these two; their generosity and hospitality is a fine example of why their friends and family enjoy their company so much — and why it made it so difficult for us to say ‘goodbye’. Congrats, Lim and Julie! And thank you for the unforgettable experience! We love you guys.

Servet + Hong | Engagement Film

Last night, Servet and Hong’s engagement film premiered in front of hundreds of their closest friends and family during their wedding reception. Today, we’re thrilled to share it with the world on their behalf. Hope you’re all ready!!

Thanks Servet and Hong for putting up a brutal nine-hours-of-filming in the bug-infested woods on a hot and humid day with us!!! Let’s make a pact to never step foot in the woods again 🙂

Rob + Kelly | Married

What an honor it was to photograph Rob and Kelly at the beautiful Dawes Arboretum. This place was simply everything you could ask for: endless fields of greenery, an enchanting japanese garden, and a sunset that’ll simply take your breath away. Of course none of these things would’ve mattered if we didn’t have an amazing couple to share it with. And we’re so thankful that they were willing to share their day with us. Congrats to the both of you, Rob and Kelly!

The Ultimate ‘Best Of’ Post from The Perfect Pear

A while ago, we promised a look back into some of our memorable images from 2012. Unfortunately, we dropped the ball on that one seeing how we’re already midway through the month of February  – and typing out ‘2012’ just seems so old. So instead, we’ve decided to go ahead and share some of our favorite images we’ve captured over the years.

Really appreciate the effort. That’s a collection of some great photos related to weddings. Some of them are really breathtaking. My favorite? “Andrew and Lissette First look” (third from the bottom).

Tersh + Julie | Married | Turks and Caicos Islands

Throughout the editing process of Tersh and Julie’s wedding film, I began thinking of why I wanted to give this film the extreme attention and care it deserves, even though we make that an account with all of our brides and grooms. I guess when you get to spend a weeklong trip with the couple you’re about to film and photograph, you begin to learn all the wonderful things that make them, well…them. Tersh and Julie are the epitome of why it’s important to value the people in your life. And with that comes great results. Congrats you two.
