For those who have ever questioned whether or not a wedding can be filmed without a crew, and solely by one person, my answer to that would be that ‘it can be done’.
With an extremely busy schedule this year, and a bride who’s been dying to see even the tiniest bit of RAW footage from her wedding day, I decided to spend one sleepless night so that I could deliver to them and the world, Trisha and Bryan’s Wedding Highlights film.
Going into this, I knew exactly how i wanted the story to begin and end. Setting the pace was the critical part, and given that Trisha’s father’s speech during the reception was what I wanted to create the film around, it easily narrowed my song selection. I normally spend weeks – even months – trying to select the perfect song for each wedding trailer we produce, but not this time!!! Rosi Golan’s Hazy, featuring William Fitzsimmons felt just right every time I envisioned the film in my head.
Trisha’s father gave one hell of a speech that pretty much captivated the entire room. The moments where he pauses to keep it all together are just memorable!
